With a RAW file you can open, edit and save as many times as you want to without degrading the image. With a jpeg, every time you open, edit and save at the same compression you loose detail.

Yes I'm also missing that one but I so seldom use the camera that I'm happy with what I've got apart from the Waist level finder. With all the loose parts the only way to keep it together undamaged is a small case.

These are my thoughts to date

I can't get the correct flicker address for these photos

Hi,

I'm in the process of making a case to hold my LX and all it's loose bits and pieces and viewfinders. I have all the finders except the FF-1 (Waist-Level-Finder) and need it's folded dimensions to make provision for it in the case.

Could someone please measure theirs and let me have the closed/folded dimensions.
Thanks,
Greg

I would have loved to have taken those photos, I'm a detail fanatic when it comes to birds and for that reason have very few keepers

Thanks Don, however I want the control when I put the lens on tubes and I'm sure I have been able to do this before, I may be mistaken though.
Steve
If the tubes do not have the aperture control pass through lever the lens will work as though it is not fitted to the camera. IOW a very old set of extension tubes.

The Yahoo forum has them as well. I've blocked messages by somebody
calling himself pentaxexpert or some such. Everything about digital
he said was negative. I ripped him for it and somebody else said to
pay no attention. The guy is an old screwmount owner who doesn't
shoot digital, couldn't produce any personal photos when challenged,
and who got all his opinions from reading other internet sites. That
slowed him down and when he responded to one of the other posters, the
other guy told him to stop! And to quit sending him opinions
off-line! The poster with the question didn't want 2nd hand info from
somebody re-hashing other's opinions. I cheered.

Consider me a dreamer, I love mine.
