This question about cleaning fluids consisting of alcohol always confuses me. To my knowledge there are three different alcohols, ethanol, methanol and isopropyl.

In this post we have reference's to people using methanol and isopropyl and that Eclipse consists of isopropyl, from what I've read they all have different effects on materials like plastic and lens coatings. I one tried to clean a plastic focus screen with methylated spirits (alcohol type unknown) and it was destroyed.

Which is the correct one to use in/on the camera ?

I use the Seagull and am happy with it, I also found that the Nikon adapter was a better fit than the Pentax one on my K200D. Once you've decided which adapter works best for you, glue it in place, it will reduce 90% of the wobble.

Yes, there are comments but they are not about suggested improvements or changes to the article itself. Maybe the concept "Articles" as an essay should be changed.

Yes I now see that one can comment on the article which is the main reason I liked the idea of a Wiki as they have always struck me as being more interactive.

Does or has anyone actually commented on the articles ?

Stefan, why not just start a Wiki, if it works and people are interested good, if not it will die a natural death. Committee decisions are never ending discussions and you end up with a camel

Thanks for drawing my attention to the AE-L lock, it's actually very easy to inadvertently brush the button with your thumb whilst holding the camera, I have had one or two incorrect exposures in the past which appeared to be random, now I know what to check for.
