Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Your welcome!
BTW, I have all the finders too apart from the simple FD-2 which I am trying to get at a sane price. I was really pleased to pick up a FA-2 finder for a sane-ish price given that it seems to be the rarest of the finders.
I ought to make an insert for my Pentax aluminium case for the LX and its bits and pieces.

Yes I'm also missing that one but I so seldom use the camera that I'm happy with what I've got apart from the Waist level finder. With all the loose parts the only way to keep it together undamaged is a small case.
These are my thoughts to date

I can't get the correct flicker address for these photos

I use my LX quite a bit. It is my go-to film camera when I want something utterly reliable. I love it, and wish I could have afforded one sooner!

Hi,
I'm in the process of making a case to hold my LX and all it's loose bits and pieces and viewfinders. I have all the finders except the FF-1 (Waist-Level-Finder) and need it's folded dimensions to make provision for it in the case.
Could someone please measure theirs and let me have the closed/folded dimensions.
Thanks,
Greg
I also am the custodian of a fairly complete LX kit - the standard prism, the finder base with attachments, the magnifying finder, the rf converter, winder, etc. My backpack has become the home of my 645n kit. Would you post pictures of your completed case; it would furnish ideas for me and other "keepers of the flame."

I've owned a Pentax LX for five years or so and had been searching for an FF1 viewfinder.
Recently I acquired one, and what a disappointment! The tiny image makes it practically unusable.
There's no way I could ever focus or see the exposure information holding the camera at waist level.
The FB1/FC1 combination is much more usable, and more flexible as well...

Bring back the latent image!

Quite true, but it is fun to have anyway. The only viewfinder I am missing now is the FD-2 which ought to be cheap but always seems to go for silly money.I've owned a Pentax LX for five years or so and had been searching for an FF1 viewfinder.

My first introduction to SLR photography was when my father bought an Asahiflex IIb, with the front panel slow speed dial and "waist level" finder. The only way he or I used it was eyeball to magnifier for focussing and usually for shooting also.
Since he was left-eyed and the IIb had a spinning shutter set dial, like the screw mount Leicas, his nose sometimes dragged on the dial, causing overexposure.

With my old eyes I would never cope but it exists and if I can get one it would be nice.I've owned a Pentax LX for five years or so and had been searching for an FF1 viewfinder.

We are spoiled rotten by modern viewfinders. In the past the tiny, dim and hardly usable viewfinders were commonplace. The exception was the wonderful aerial image viewfinder of say the Voigtlander Bessamatic, which would be a revelation even today.
The Pentax pentaprism finder was just incredible and to this day remains one of the best available.
Waist level finders for 35mm cameras are not very effective because the focusing screen is just 36x24mm, far too small to be easily viewed.

Let me offer that we Pentax users are spoiled! Have you peered through a bottom feeder Canon or Nikon DSLR? When I bought my K10d I looked at comparable Canikons and was appalled. The K10d is so much better, but the LX, MX and ME-Super are much better than the K10d.
I am the "custodian" of a Voigtlander Vitessa L, f2 Ultron and built in meter, which had an auxillary aerial frame viewfinder, called I think, the Kontour. I'd love to find one. Of course it wasn't viewfinder coupled.

My first 35mm was an ME Super and when I peered through the viewfinder of some other cameras I kept wondering what was wrong. I was certainly spoiled!
