I took a flip in a Tiger Moth, no glass in the way. The photos were taken with a Canon A95 so I'll not post here.

When it comes to electronic banking SA is one of the best. I can transfer between my accounts at the same bank or any branch of the bank and the transfer reflects immediately in the other account.

If I pay a supplier who uses the same bank, they also see the payment immediately (seconds) Between different banks takes two days.

Most of the good used Pentax equipment sold in South Africa is listed on Bid or Bye, they have a horrible option which allows the seller to set up the auction so that the bid time is extended by one minute every time there is a last minute bid. That is when the prices go mad and sniping does not work.I bid my maximum price and walk away.

George and Larry have noted in the Gallery that I have messed up the nose when cloning out the teenage pimples, they are quite correct and I've made a B_up of the job.

I'm going to delete the photos from the Gallery.

Thanks for all the feedback, I hope my next attempt will be better.

Thanks Don,

I'm an accountant and you can give me any accounting or spreadsheet program and I'll find my way around, however when dealing with Elements and their weird terminology for all the different functions and effects I'm on a very steep learning curve and have almost come to the conclusion that I must go and do a training course.

I'll try what you suggest over the weekend.

Thanks,
Greg

Thanks,

I take your points. I tried cloning out the white background highlights in both Lightroom and Elements 9 and ended up with a mess. I found using a black vignette made the picture very sombre.

You have made me subscribe to the site so that I can post a second image on the same day

The original is now in the gallery here

In the past I have only been interested in wildlife and birds, now as I get older and less chance to go out to the bush I'm becoming more interested in photographing people.

I learnt a lot from this first serious attempt. There was a white wall in the background which I had to hide, most were out of focus as I used spot focusing with the red focus point turned off, so I did not see that the camera was focusing between the heads and on the tree behind and also in all but two I did not notice that the girls hair was covering her eye.

I want to go back and redo a similar shot.

I like the result so CC it but please don't destroy me

I've posted it to the gallery here.

I've owned a Pentax LX for five years or so and had been searching for an FF1 viewfinder.
Recently I acquired one, and what a disappointment!

With my old eyes I would never cope but it exists and if I can get one it would be nice.

And I'm sure PentaxMaster doesn't look like his aviator, a number of the links to that pic have a French connection, any connection ?
