ok i suppose saying it is crap is a bit harsh....it is semi crap tho i compared it to images from my k-m when i had it and my opinion is the k-m images were better. zoomed in on pictures to 100% zoom on the d80 shots and it was very fuzzy, not impressed at all to be honest. i did intend buying it to keep as a backup up but would rather sell it.

All looks fine, i would try to add some pics of the lens, always helps in a sale. As for payment you ask for either paypal gift with the buyer paying the fees or for bank transfer. i personally have never heard of anyone ripping anyone off on this forum, but still never post until payment is confirmed.

Postage will probably be around a fiver for that lens, certainly no more than a tenner, and you should do it insured recorded delivery.

Been away for some time, surprised and disappointed to find this thread still active. I still want to buy a K-5, but given my location I don't want to get into hassles over returns if there is a problem. Is anybody in a position to offer an opinion on the current probability of getting a problem camera - less than 1%, 1-10%, greater than 10%? Thanks as always.:
Personally i would say there pretty much over the issue now, the old stock i think has gone and its all new stock coming out now

When the k-x came out i made the choice between a k-x and k-7, at the time i couldnt justify the k-7 as the k-x has better sensor and low light capabilitys. i would of been gutted buying the k-7 if a few months later they bought something else out....which they did, the k-5.

if i had bought the k-7 then i would not of been able to upgrade again so i went with the k-x with the view of seeing what they came out with, and have now upgraded to the k-5

I've used the k-x for weddings no problem, now upgraded to the k-5, looking forward to my first wedding with it the end of this month.

I bought the cheap grip from amazon, having never used a grip i didnt want to spend £200 on one to find out i didnt like it. For £40 i gave it a shot and love it, it stays on the camera and really i cant see a point in spending £200, it does exactly the same job and works well for me. if i were to see an original cheap i would consider it but probably only if the one i have developed a fault.

I love the extra battery power, ease of use shooting portrait and general feel of the camera with it on. Yes it adds weight but that doesnt worry me really. And yes, it can turn on easily with a small knock, i'm aware of it and used to it so again doesnt cause me too much problems.
