unless it interferes with veiwing/focussing, i'd suggest you leave it alone...it can't affect your images, and it's not going anywhere....
if you know how the screen is removable....if you don't have experience be forewarned...they are very easy to damage.
if you get a new screen, and take it to a repair shop to havit installed, I'd think they'd clean for you, no extra charge.

the rubber padding on the outside should not have anythibg to do with the weather seals. proper weather sealing comes from A)having as few holes as possible in the outer plastic body. and B)putting rubber gaskets in to seal those openings.

a rubber pad, used on the part where you grip it, is cosmetic, not part of any seal...at least thats the way it should be done.

a little corner on my mz5 grip lifted a bit, and stayed that way for years without actually comming right off.

I'm not big on advertorials....degrading to legitimate writing. (editorial prostitution (miracle fat loss & male enhancement/baldness cures etc) confuses and misleads many, shall we say "gullable" readers.

now product placement....there's an idea! look at subways tie in to Adam Sandler's Happy Gilmore! or the product placement masters: Apple!!!
I'd love to see an episode of CSI Miami, where Cane stops playing with his sunglasses long enough to whip out his trusty Pentax to snap a case breaking photo.

Well, all joking aside, seldom does music stage lighting ever flatter a female performer. I love the images you have created....wish I'd seen the show!

yeah, but who else but "The Bride of Frankenstien" would want her as a bridesmaid?
so how can "always the bridesmaid, Never the Bride" apply?

I can just see the bride and bridesmaid having an intimate conversation before the ceremony.....
"No Honey, you wear the veil.....you're scaring my guests"

I love fixing things....
and that sounds like a workable idea....
also possible to lookup some collectors on the net or evilbay and see what you can get for em, put that towards new glass...
maybe somebody out there really wants to give them a home...

I didn't paint the reflector or insides black....just the outsides to make it look a little more "photographic equipment" and less "hardware". you know what I mean?
