Jeez, wouldn't want to meet her down a dark alley! Good picture. Though does slightly look like her hair is on fire!

Tim,
every shot you've shown from that weekend is a belter. Have you thought of contacting them to see if they'll take them off your hands as promo material? Obviously free tickets or monetary donations would need to be negotiated.
The Eddie Tatton one especially, is as good as any promo shot I've seen.

Gosh, thanks for the kind words. Actually after looking at the gallery put up by the "official" event photographer http://www.briansherwen.co.uk/portfolio.asp?cat=37 I thought mine stood up quite well. But then I did have the benefit of a better camera!

Stood up quite well? Way better! Your background's much cleaner, they're sharper, you've got better control of the depth of field...

yeah, but who else but "The Bride of Frankenstien" would want her as a bridesmaid?
so how can "always the bridesmaid, Never the Bride" apply?
I can just see the bride and bridesmaid having an intimate conversation before the ceremony.....

it seems like that other guy used a lot of fill in flash, thats always a no-no at least at most of the shows ive been to. besides it really ruins the stage drama.

Musically it was a cracking weekend, the most consistent of the 4 Maryport festivals I've attended. Never The Bride do some terrific covers, especially Zeps "Whole Lotta Love".
Zach, I agree about the use of fill-in flash. I'm trying to capture the effect of being on stage, so why lose that? Here's one from a couple of years ago:-
I ought to dig out the original RAW file as I think I could do a better job of processing it now.

Nice, heres one of a friend of mines band, not exactly action but i think the lighting is great.
