set a high iso.(auto range 1-800 or manual 400-800)
set camera to manual or tav
set aperture to f5.6 to f8
shutter speeds to 1/15 sec
use a wide angle lens use hyerfocal foocus on manual to get sufficient dof that you don't need to focus.
have fun, ps there's a guy in another thread who is very unhappy with his k10, in the dark.... maybe offer to buy his as a backup body!

post one or two, and you get very specific, very detialed feedback.
post twenty images, and the whole twenty will get studied about the same amount of time, as the two, by each viewer, and the feedback tends to be shorter and more vague....
very nice images by the way.

I believe you can get even higher shutter speeds of 1/30,000 with an autoflash by using a piece of paper to feed back the flash directly to the auto sensor.
Either use a trigger system or a shutter speed of 1/2 a second and fire the flash manually. Here's a shot I'm really pleased with using a trigger."
I remove the auto sensor an run a jumper wire across the connector plugs on my viv 283's to get the shortest flash duration (and lowest output possible).
love that shot.... did you get the colors in camera or in post? oil and milk in a black pan?
