Been on a work trip in South Australia for a couple of weeks and felt like showing off a couple of the shots I took I'm always amazed at just how beautiful the desert can be.

Hmmm... Just realised I've got more than I thought... If folks are interested in seeing more, I'll post more!

Just to clarify - these are the shots where I was trying to 'be a photographer', rather than just taking snapshots or shots for work, so I'm interested in feedback / constructive criticism, not just showing off!

Nice set of pics. If you have any more we'd like to see them, but please just give us the link to your hosting site.

The whole point of this section is that people can post photos....
Best regards, John

A poster recently put several dozen pics in one post which makes for difficult viewing when they are simply stacked on top of one another. It also costs the poster a lot of time cutting and pasting links for each photo and perhaps a description.

To avoid that, surely it's better to post a sample here and the viewer can then choose whether to view the remainder on a hosting site which probably has a much better interface for viewing them.

Just a suggestion, not a criticism.

I think the reality is that the more pictures posted at a time, the less in-depth any critique is going to be.

I'm with chris on this one...
post one or two, and you get very specific, very detialed feedback.
post twenty images, and the whole twenty will get studied about the same amount of time, as the two, by each viewer, and the feedback tends to be shorter and more vague....
very nice images by the way.
Fired many shots. Didn't kill anything.

Like your shots Pup, shows the outback for what it is, harsh, arid.

Could do with some of the blue sky up this way, we have had weeks of drizzle.
C&C welcome.

I'm sure the folks in Outback AU would love to send their blue skies in exchange for your weeks of drizzle! Pretty damn critical in some parts.

Thanks for the kind words folks, good point about more images meaning less constructive criticism - I'll put the rest up on DA and post a link for those interested in seeing more.
