Can we expect to see a whole load of holiday pics then? You know the ones, finger obscurring lens, sloping horizons, and photo's of feet (oh, sorry, that'd be video if you forgot to turn off).
I post pictures like that on EPZ every day - how will you tell the difference I wonder? This must mean that every day is a holiday. Yay!

Been using devices like these for several years now, even the old GPRS only ones before 3G was out, as for me they were an absolute neccessity for when I was working on the markets.
The prices are so cheap now that everyone should have one in their laptop bag! Not only that, for those that don't know, laptops are now being subsidised with a 'mobile broadband' contract, like mobile phones have been for years.
You can now get a decent usable laptop for free when signing up to one of these, or a lump of cash off of a better model, which can, if you choose the right deal, effectively give you interest free credit with just paying for the mobile broadband, definately worth looking into!

I have nightmares where the last photo I ever take is of a gps guided missile, fired from a Reaper Drone that was tracking me from a chip on my cell phone, coming straight at me. Because I wrote a letter of complaint against a member of Parliment, and got mistakenly tagged as a terrorist.
Fired many shots. Didn't kill anything.

Throw that phone away NOW I have nightmares where the last photo I ever take is of a gps guided missile, fired from a Reaper Drone that was tracking me from a chip on my cell phone, coming straight at me. My first thought when i read your post was to pass the phone to the person next to me saying it was for him and then running like a thief

Fantastic, it works. Using the mobile phone network, anywhere there was an Orange signal we were online.
You do have to watch the cost if you go abroad. Most of the providers don't include roamed minutes and it can work out to be expensive. We have 8 or 10 of them at work and we have seen bills between £2-3000 (per device)!!!Fantastic, it works. Using the mobile phone network, anywhere there was an Orange signal we were online.

This time I'd signed up to Internet Anywhere with Orange and the laptop has been live wherever we have been.
Fantastic, it works. Using the mobile phone network, anywhere there was an Orange signal we were online. The speed can be quite slow where the local system is GPRS, just like going back to dial-up, but elsewhere where there is a G3 or better network it flies quite fast enough.
Anyway, I'm back now, so things are slighlty faster again, which is nice. But it'll be great to be able to keep in touch from almost anywhere!
