Awesome shots.

Which f-stops did you use for these?
Cheers,
I used f8 to f11, to be honest i couldn't tell you which is which though.
Lovely shots! To see the f stop if you click on the Flickr link to go to the photo and then click on the 'i' it will give you some of the Exif data, including f stop.
Unfortunately its not accurate in this case, as f2.8 reads as f1.2 so im not sure what the actual f stops were.

Lovely images with creamy bokeh.

I quite like the hexagonal bokeh patterns. They add a 'digital/futuristic' feel to the shots if you know what I mean.
Yep, same as that. I think there are times that hex bokeh will work for you.
And love the creamy close up bokeh.

Those red and black beetles...sort of Darth Vader does Red Riding Hood.

Great shots
That's so funny, as I was looking at them and trying to get the focus right, and I do mean trying, I was thinking little red riding hood

Cheers

Fabulous vibrant set, I'll buck the trend and go for 6, which I think is the left hand flower of 3,
Liking 7 nearly as much. I like the way you have framed the oof areas to lead into the focus of the shot, unashamed pun.
All great though.
Must resist manual lens pull

No 1 reminds me of a pint of Guinness settling

Of the isolation shots, 1, 2,3,5,6 and 7 really work for me, with 2 being my pick.
I have tried and failed miserably to emulate this type of shot in the past, just can't get it. The movement in the water coupled with the light and inky blacks just nails it.

Of the set, no 10 is just fantastic, not much more to say about that one.
Followed closely by 11.
Fantastic set, if I ever get over the pond again I might try and visit that area.
