Thanks Gwyn, Gary, David and Sry. Newcastle is very photogenic. Someone told me there are more listed buildings in this city than in Bath. I find that hard to believe but then Newcastle is a much bigger city than Bath so its possible.

Many thanks to a fellow member on PUF who lives a few miles from me my DA*16-50mm lens is now working again after being converted to screw drive. It seemed a complicated process needing computer skills that were beyond me but it only took him a few minutes because of his expertise. The lens has always been optically superb.

I'd like that. Barrie might also fancy a visit sometime. I know we've discussed the possibility of going to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. The only PUF member from the South Yorks group I've met is Neil several times.

Well observed scenes from Sheffield with a good mix of architecture mixed with quirky corners. Great light and excellent quality all round. One of these days I must revisit the city of my father's birth - with my camera. I love seeing your city photo walks and those of some other photographers on PUF.

Another beautiful set of images Bill. Its hard to pick favourites when the set as a whole is excellent. Your job must give you an adrenalin high to inspire you as walk back to your digs late at night.
