Also with the K5, i thought only the Kr was effected (and Kx)
Unfortunatley had this problem come up 3 times now on my K5 but rest of the camera has been fine.

Definately looking at getting one myself as looks like such a good camera all round. I have loved my K10D and it has served well and feel I have had more than my money's worth out of it. Now hope I will feel the same about the K5.

I agree with the recomendation of Martin Evening's book, though I would dip in and out for the specific things you want to do. As it is quite heavy going to read cover to cover.

I have just bought a DA* 16-50 and the service was excellent, lens was in my hands within 20 hours and with free delivery

I would recommend giving them a call as they are very helpful or you can claim the free delivery by putting your forum name in the comment box for online orders.

OH!!! forgot the ability to run without batteries
How about the manual wind-on is a little generator, 30 seconds twirling gets you a battery free shot

Thanks for the comments, I tend to use only a few different papers, mainly permajet so hopefully the profiling shouldn't be too much of a problem.

The samples I have seen had good looking colour, has anybody used PermaJets ink and care to comment on it?

Thanks
Kevin

Hi,

I am thinking of getting an Eco-flo continuous ink system from Permajet for my Epson 2400, does anyone have any experience or comments on using one of these.

Thanks
Kevin

Thankyou for the kind reply and comments, I have some black foamboard sitting here so I shall try that as a background when the sun next ventures out.
