I think you ought to be very pleased with your results. Of the first batch, I like the first pic mainly because it's isolated from a cluttering background. The orange glad' is the best of the second batch.
On a future occasion, try placing black card or cloth behind the subject to eliminate any distracting background. You might like the effect. I realise that some subjects, like the Pasiflora for instance, is going to be difficult.
Having out of focus background is great, if it compliments the image. A garden fence does nothing . . .
Well done.

Thankyou for the kind reply and comments, I have some black foamboard sitting here so I shall try that as a background when the sun next ventures out.

Don't just wait for the sun, many subjects really appreciate an overcast sky, flowers amongst them. You can run into problems with a long shutter speed, but use a tripod, compose your picture, then wait for the breeze to drop.

splashing some watercolor onto watercolor papers to make a small binder full of mini backdrops is a nice way to add complimentary colors to a macro image....

Fired many shots. Didn't kill anything.

Nice pictures all, but you can get a lot closer with tubes! Try going in on the anthers and stamens of a flower

Thanks for the advice, I shall attempt to put it all to use and come back with the results
