Open to offers.

Photozone's review of this lens concludes: 'Typical for all Pentax Limited lenses the build quality is excellent and it is a joy to use such a high quality lens in the field. The price of less than 600€/US$) may appear to be very high for such a tiny lens but I think it's very fair in relation to its performance. Therefore - highly recommended!'

The copy offered here is in pristine condition. No marks, scratches, etc, optics A1.

PayPal is fine (if fees included), as well as bank transfer.

In immaculate condition, this superb lens was bought new from SRS in January 2011, and has been protected with an uv filter from the outset.

I have to recognize that it has had much too little use in my hands - largely because two of my other lenses overlap its focal distance.

The lens comes with original front and rear caps, lens hood, Pentax pouch, and box.

I'm asking for £325, to include postage within the UK (RMSD). Payment by bank transfer, please.

Interesting idea. Thanks. Re storage, I carry mine in a case made for CDs, with a sleeve for each -- seems to keep them in good nick, as well as organising them.

A grant of non-exclusive rights would achieve the end Ricoh desire and the inclusion of the phrase 'non-exclusive' would allay some fears. The aim here, I'm pretty sure, is to protect Ricoh rather than to exploit photographers.

As an aside, is anyone still uploading snaps to and voting on PPG ?
No, Having had 18 of the 19 photos I submitted accepted, it's clear to me that there is something wrong. As Marx said (Groucho), 'I don't care to belong to any club that will have me as a member'.

If you haven't already tried this, loop something suitable round the circumference and then clutching both ends of the material (rubber is best) together try to turn the ring. With the thin metals often used on these rings finger pressure on particular parts of the circumference can cause the ring to bind.

Good luck.

Why John believes such matters are confidential is strange given they can be easily found with a web search.
Quality not quantity ... but even so, these figures are themselves a pretty bald rebuttal of the notion that all is rosy in the garden. We could argue about causes, but it is surely massively complacent to believe that things cannot be improved. Sadly, satisfaction with the way things are is conspicuous in some quarters, and I have no great expectation that that will alter.

another thread disappears. Our moderators are rather trigger happy at the moment, stamping on opinions that do not correspond with their own and stifling dissent.

I appreciate that the moderators' role is sometimes difficult, but it's difficult to see how the present contretemps could have been dealt with in a worse manner (the locked 'Heartless' thread refers; its successor and predecessor threads have disappeared).

For my part (this will cheer them), I wish to play no further active role in the site while it is being moderated so heavy handedly.

The best of these are wall-hanging good. It is perhaps a measure of yr success that Bob (above) thought he saw a washing line. (There isn't one, is there?!)

2, 3 (particularly 3), 7, and 9 get my vote. The blur on the horse, eg, is less successful: looks as though it could merely be a bad case of camera wobble.
