I get clunky browser issues on this forum using Firefox, its to with one of the adverts.

I used to have a HP which used to produce great prints but then that died I brought an EPSON XP-850 (all in one) which also produces stunning prints on PermaJet papers.

It all depends on the type of battery.

Modern lithium batteries do not suffer from the memory effect and should retain charge will over long periods of time. To be honest a month is not a long time, if it was me I would probably not even think about it. If I know I'm not going to use a camera for a few months I would probably take the battery out of the camera and store it somewhere safe.

Just think how long some batteries and camera hang around store rooms, in some cases they could be in a warehouse for 12 months or more.

The other thing to think about is how long the cameras internal battery will last without power. You may have to reset up the time/date etc.

I know both AMD (Radeon) and NVidia both provide free software for recording gaming, not sure if they can be used to record a normal desktop session. If I remember I might try to tonight.

I was the same, never really thought much about which cards I brought until I got my K5IIs and brought a Sansdisk Extreme card. The speed difference is noticeable.

I now mainly Sandisk Extreme, Extreme Pro or Ultra. I also have some Lexar Premium cards which are a little slower but mainly stay with my cameras as a backup (or when I forget to put a card back in)

The Lexar and Sandisk cards are both classed as class 10 yet the Lexars are 45mb/s and the Sandisks are 95mb/s

Yeah they will charge your card before they sent out the lens.

You have the same set of lenses I have (although I do have the 35mm F2.4 and a Sigma 70-300 (with macro function) The 18-135 is a nice all-rounder and the 50mm is my low light lens.

Just looked at their facebook page and they should be back to normal opening hours.

They are probably very busy, when I went on the Saturday of the black Friday weekend he a constant stream of customers.

I have brought a few things from SRS and not had any problems.

My last purchase was a Pentax AF 540 which was on offer when I ordered it but later received an email saying they were out of stock and that they were getting more between xmas and new years. They haven't taken the payment.

The email I received said:
'Hello, Thank you for your order. We are currently out of stock of the AF540FGZII and it is on order with Pentax UK - all being well they will be with us between Christmas and the New Year. We will process your order as soon as we have the item in stock. Kind Regards'

I also visited their shop in Watford when I brought my K3II + Grip + 50m.

Just been window shopping, I just noticed that SRS no-longer have the Q-S1 bodies for sale, they still have lenses.

How did you guess?

I just building up my studio/event/wedding kit, thinking about using two cameras with the same two off camera flashes.
