Trouble loading forum with Google Chrome

No problem, I think from time to time a particular advert might be slow loading and that seems to make things "sticky" for a while. Chrome and Firefox seem OK generally, but IE was a constant problem.

I get clunky browser issues on this forum using Firefox, its to with one of the adverts.
Digital: Pentax K-1 II + Grip, Pentax K3II + Grip, Pentax MX-1.
Lenses: Pentax D-FA 24-70mm 2.8, D-FA 15-30 2.8, D-FA 70-200 2.8*, Pentax 35mm 2.4, 50mm 1.8, 18-135mm WR, 55-300mm HD, Sigma 70-300mm (macro), Tamron 17-50mm F2.8.
Film: Mamiya C330 Medium Format, Pentax Super ME.

I use chrome for everything and don't have any problems, however I may get different ads from most as I'm not in the UK.
Pentax hybrid user - Digital K3, film 645 and 35mm SLR and Pentax (&other) lenses adapted to Fuji X and Panasonic L digital

Just trying out Chrome instead of Firefox, and while it's fine for most of the sites I routinely browse, Chrome won't complete loading of this forum as it seems to be waiting for ads to load - then I get the 'unresponsive' message. It's fine with Firefox (using it now) but does anyone else have issues accessing the forum using Chrome? If so, how did you fix it?

EDIT: Just closed Chrome down and re-started it - and now it works... very strange. Sorry for the bother.
