I did edit my post but it didn't seem to save. It was meant say 'I haven't used the K5IIs since'. But I have used the same cards in the K3II with out problem.

I'm shooting a gig at the weekend, if I can feel like taking 3 bodies with me I might give it a try.

Interesting, I have also experienced slow writing/processing issues with the K5-IIs using the 55-300HD. In the end I put it down to built in noise reduction as I was shooting bands at a festival.

I was was sandisk extreme pros 95ms.

I have used the K5 since.

Took a trip to Bristol Zoo this weekend, the weather wasn't that great but managed to get this piccy of a frog.

The frog was behind rather dirty glass so I have applied a little sharpening, de-haze and increased the exposure and contrast slightly.

Ah yes, the good old days. I guess when photography was invented everything they took was unedited, straight out of the camera.

Take this image for example, a photograph from 1871.

Since day 1 people have found ways to enhance, edit, trim, lighten, darken, cross process and generally 'photoshop' their final image.

I don't think there was ever truly been a period of photography where you haven't been able to manipulate the final image.

For 90% of my images I only use Lightroom, little shadow tweaks etc. I do like contrasty pictures and black and white, I ways take the picture in colour and convert it.

So I am getting closer and closer to pulling the trigger on the K-1 but cannot decide which bundle to go for.

I can really only buy one FA lens to start with and I would like a good low light lens, but also want something that can be used for landscape and wildlife.

I currently use the Tamron 18-50mm 2.8 for gigs with proper lighting setups and the Pentax 50mm 1.8 for badly lit venues.

I have narrowed it down to 2 lenses.

Pentax HD PENTAX-D FA 28-105mm F3.5-5.6 ED DC WR
HD PENTAX-D FA 24-70mm F2.8 ED SDM WR

Does anyone have either of these lenses on the K-1 and have you tried them in low light?

Well I do use a blackrapid double strap

Also I do like having a backup camera.

I tend to grab the K5IIs for low light work, I have been doing a bit of band photography and the K5II seems to get better results.

Just shut up now and take my money

No really, do I trade in my K3II, keep the K5-IIs and buy a K-1?

Can I really justify keeping 3 bodies
