The background of the drummer and bald guitarist are a bit gray compared to the white of the other two.

How about putting a background in the shots? Some graffiti perhaps?

The spider is amazing!

Nice set, and a good mix of B+W and colour. I really like the yellow door too but feel it could do with an increase in contrast then a decrease in saturation to stop the yellow getting too bright. Just an opinion mind. It's a lovely shot. The nets look great in mono.

I really like the second two versions of these shots, I think they both improve on the originals

I prefer the second shot too. The light is great and the composition a bit different from most shots I have seen of the Opera House.

I would say the white thing is the handle of the bag?

That makes sense. It's a great shot!

What lens were you using?

Nice one, similar to the bread one and just as good. Not so sure about decaf tea though.....

A minor niggle, but what's the white thing between the the tin and your left hand?

Have you thought about a zoom? I quite fancy a Pentax 16-50mm F2.8 DA* ED for much the same use. It's a bit steep but not as much as the 31mm Ltd.

The Pentax website still says "645D will be available in May 2010 only in Japan.
As for other areas, no decision has been made yet."

I should be going to Tokyo soon, but I can't afford one of these. Not yet, anyway....
