I am definitely suffering from withdrawal symptoms....there's nowhere to buy lenses here and I don't really trust the post.

I've also not been able to take any pics recently as I am too busy studying. Mind you, it's 45 degrees during the day, 35 at night, and lots of sandstorms, so not really the weather for it. I'll have to get the tammy out and shoot macros round the house...............

About time I got a flash...I also want a Sigma 10-20 and the Bigma seems strangely alluring.....

But I should be going to Hong Kong and Singapore soon.....soon.....

Photography as an excuse for beer? Or vice versa?

Second from last for me too, it's excellent. I also really like the wonky street scene very much. Nice set!

Great pic, lovely and sharp. How did you know where to point the lens from so far away?

The last three do it for me! Great shots!

The second one works very well I think, as the focus on the darker bits around the lump draws the eye in to that gnarly lump. The softer focus further up the tree looks very nice against the sky, and empasises the shape of the tree.

The first one unfortunately has a bit much shadow around the most intersting bit and the white looks a little blown out in places?
The last one is a bit difficult to tell if it's rock, tree or something else, and it doesn't really do much for me as purely an abstract.

The sky is amazing in both the first two shots, and contrasts very nicely with the white of the tree.

Great set of pictures. I especially like the tram controls detail and the brown door, but they are all very good.

Excellent set of images looks like you were lucky with both the windows and the haze!

Aliengrove, we don't have any grafitti in Glasgow so I cant go out and photograph any.
You must be in the posh part then: try some of the tower block estates. Maybe not such a good idea on second thought, not with camera equipment.............

I think it's a great image. The lighting and reflections are great, and the drops of moisture on the knife is a nice touch, as it implies the knife was used to cut the apple rather than just being a prop.

I'm sure your very active imagination can come up with a few complimentary images to go with it!
