Algernon, The name of the site is deceptive..re Pentax info they have been very reliable in the past as those of us who have followed these 'rumors' can attest to.

The lens is on a patent just applied for but people have been suggesting the need for this type of lens so no reason to suggest Ricoh are throwing away patent money because they've nothing better to do. The K-70 reference is sound given past precedents by both Ricoh and other manufacturers.

Glad to hear you're on the mend and looking forward to some 'me' time.

We blokes often tend to 'tough it out' and not want to suffer the indignity of an ambulance at the front door
...sometimes our other halves DO know best though...well done Catherine.

Thanks for bringing this to peoples attention...I wasn't aware of it. It won't affect me personally as it stands but were the principle to be extended firstly to the UK/EU if the TTIP trade deal (being negotiated in secret) is passed), then it could affect anybody who wanted to sell any branded good as the manufacturer could claim that somehow personal profit was being made out of selling goods bearing a trademark/registered logo etc.

Thin end of the wedge...you'll need to be registered with the government and have an electronic POS machine to be able to trade at a car boot sale before long...all in the interests of clamping down on money laundering and organised crime/terrorism of course.

Agree with paulcliff...looks decidedly odd seeing stars or noise similar to those surrounding the lit half of the moon where only shadow should be.

Fantastic set David...really captured the atmosphere of the event. I feel though for that chap in No.16...he's wrapped himself and his bike around a tree and no-one seems to care.

Cracking package price that...I paid £275 for my K-50 with 18-55WR last July (or at least I will have done when they get round to sending me my cashback). SRS have sold the 55-300WR at least twice in the past year for £199...but at £200 for each element (camera with kit lens/55-300 it's fantastic value).

Nice images as ever Nigel. Talk about location, location, location with those houses...

Only thing I did notice...in the third one, the differing sky tones, looks a bit artificial on the lower sky.
