Very arty Nigel...almost looks like strips of plastiscene have been laid on landscape.

Telephoto lens great for these type of shots as you so ably demonstrate.

"Honey I shrunk the Sales Rep..."

Lens is really a Pentax M* 67 800 F6.7ED on a fancy stand

Oh well...we knew it was going to be pricey but it'll be be down to £1650 in time for Christmas!

This will be my next but one camera. I've got to get a low mileage K-3II in vgc in about 2 years first having only just upgraded to a K-5IIs!

Interesting point people are making about a new K-1 III using tech from this new camera...could arrive by the end of the year i would have thought, then Pentax would have two truly exceptional cameras with appeal beyond existing Pentax users.

Probably the final 'leak' before announcement in a couple of days...according to link

Nice spec...more than adequate for vast majority I would have thought.

I'll plump for £1649 body only...with a special introductory offer of a spare battery and 32GB SD card thrown in
at SRS !

Some very nice images...particularly like the two geese...very sharp and colourful.

"April will be a big month for a new product!"

We can only hope...

Why not wait for just a bit longer (hopefully) and see how good the new APS flag is?

Whatever price it starts off at within 6 months it wil be £150-£200 cheaper anyway and if the AF is the best Pentax AF yet as hinted at, then given your lens investment already maybe the best way forward for you.

Nice shot...what a great way into wide-angle on FF for a relative pittance.

Overall I prefer the coloured version but prefer the mono sky...just to complicate things.
