I reckon £1500-1600. I wouldn't be an early adopted, usually letting others iron out the problems and let supply outstrip demand.

The k3 iii will be above 2000 sterling body only. That is based on that nothing will be of its equal in that price range for functionality, speed, and light years ahead of where Pentax was at recently, at least that’s my hope.not the 2 grand part might I add😂 So the savior is it’s auto focus speed it’s reliability and it has to be technically excellent to be recognized by the general camera critiques.
When I think about it they did not bother with a rear articulating screen( a mistake I thought myself ) This tells live view will not be necessary as it’s accuracy for nailing focus through the viewfinder will be on a par with the best other manufacturers have to offer. Here’s wishing you the best Pentax with the new launch.

I've no doubt it'll be a superb camera but I don't expect the price to be less than £1650, which is a lot to ask for an APS-C camera even if it's the latest and greatest.

I'm looking forward to hearing how people find this new much hyped and anticipated camera. As an aps-c shooter, if the price is not too high it could be very tempting. The wait will soon be over

With the D500 at less than £1500, D7500 at less than £1000, and the 7D2 and 90D probably at the low point pricewise, Ricoh won't shift many K3iiis at £2000 plus.
£1600 was the introductory price for the *ist D and the K3 IIRC, I bought mine at £600 and £900 for each body (new)...

Seems crazy to me to ask £2000 for an APS-C camera, regardless of how many bells and whistles it comes with. I bought my K-3 ll for less that £700 brand spanking new from SRS (I think it was but may have been Clifton), about 3 years ago. It must be some fantastic piece of kit to take it above the price of a brand new K-1 ll. Still we have to wait and see I guess.

Leica CL body £2,250, albeit EVF rather than optical VF. Leica seems able to survive in a pricey little niche, why not Pentax? How many K3III bodies need to be sold to make it viable for Pentax? As many (or as few) as Leica CL sales?
Anyway, if the K3III does happen to be on its way to the UK, let's hope it isn't grounded in the Suez canal!

Grounded in the Suez that's made me laugh Lubbyman if that situation does not escalate that is. it would though be the ultimate irony after delays they had in house

Although I love my Z7 I've missed shooting landscape with a Pentax, If it's under £1599 I'll trade my D850 and my F lenses (not 200-500 though) for it and a DA16-85.
I really cant see a APS-C camera above that will be in competition with the Nikon D500, Canon 90D.
Hope to be back soon

I’d love it if you were right but that’s the price WEX are currently for the established X-Pro 3 which I suppose is another somewhat niche low ish volume camera with some innovative and expensive tech (probably not as much of that as the K3iii though). I’d be pleasantly surprised if the new camera is less than £1,800 initially although I think it will be a struggle to price it higher than the K1ii.
I wish Pentax well though - seriously thinking of coming back to the fold and getting out of M43 as the new camera looks very promising and paired with a few DA Limiteds would provide an experience that’s not easy to get from most other systems.

European prices.
2000€ for body - Approx £1700.00 at todays rate
329€ for the grip - Approx £280 at today rate
Add 25% to UK price because of Brexit (That wouldn't surprise me either)
What we need is for Chris to offer an extra £200 on trade ins before I put my K-1 up for sale.
