Great set...I like them all. Lovely colours too...its a nice lens that.

I may be old fashioned but it has to be a printed manual for me every time. The manual that came with my K-x was without doubt the best manual i've ever received with any consumer item..and crucially it was so useful and was often used particularly when i wanted to try out a new feature.

I've just bought a K-50 under the triple discount scheme and the fact that it came with a fully comprehensive operating manual was a factor in my decision. Not a deal breaker admittedly, however If choosing between two cameras with not much between them i'd go for the one with the paper manual.

I can't believe they can be that expensive when they are printed in their tens and hundreds of thousands.

An interesting experiment..but personally I find the prominent donut bokeh to be too distracting.

Coventry Unpicked...an interesting set of images. You could have started something there...

At the moment, the K50 body only at £209 including various discounts/cashback from SRS is pretty unbeatable value for money In my opinion. For £275 it comes with the Weather Resistant kit lens to get you going...

Yes ...Happy 40th. Have to say that camera cake is stunning . Before I scrolled down to the second image I was looking at the camera you were using...something not quite right about it..the Pentax lettering didn't look quite precise enough, the viewfinder was more offset than I would have expected, looked a bit plasticky for an X-5 (although i've never seen one )...then when I saw the second image..it all made sense!

Really impressed with the cake design. Hope your party went well.

Have a great year.

Also Tamron to be bringing out new range of lenses for the new camera apparently...although these are said to be according to a Tamron Rep. Make of it what you will.

Link to photorumors here.

Really arty..Instant 'Impressionism'. I love them and great technique. Some of them would make great Wall Art blown up. Have you tried printing any of them?

That's a nice little project well executed. No.4 looks a bit creepy. I'd not heard of these before but i'm sure locally it must have created a lot of excitement and interest...hopefully the town has benefited financially.

I can't see it being passed..too many commercial enterprises like Google would suffer financially...imagine all the streetview images they would have to edit or delete. In addition this type of legislation would only make it more likely that the UK voted to leave the EU, hoisting them by their own petard.
