Congratulations, I must give this a go myself. I particularly liked the two b&w shot, they have a nice narrative feel.

This has element I find interesting although I would have preferred that the main focus was on the foreground nuts rather than the back set, cropped a little tighter loosing some of the background rocks and taken just a little lower so that the nuts & assorted hangers on became more dominant in the shot. Not a criticism just a different view

I quite like both versions although the intensity of the terracotta colour, for me has the edge.

I see the king of the rust objects is still on top form, it's strange how a rust piece of metal belted into a bit of slate/granite can look so good in isolation, nice one. I quite like the tree & mountain shot no. 4 with the tree leaning to the left and the mountain balancing it out to the right & No 10 a very atmospheric image.

Thanks for the comments so far . Gareth all the shots were taken with my DA 55-300, sunset IV was at 255mm, it was a rare moment when a Bigma would have been nice.

I have tinkered with this image by brightening the boat, have I overdone it?

I know the feeling, I've been messing around with a picture of a tree trunk taken yesterday, trying to make its face like features stand out.

Your image is a great concept though, original thinking is something I'm defiantly lacking today.

Raining lots but no interesting clouds. Just got back from a walk along the river and even the ducks could not be bothered to show up. For the last hour or so I've been messing around trying to take pictures of a swan feather on a white background, not a lot of luck so far.

More bordering on blue berry I would have thought , I wonder what number one would look like if you made the white more intense.
