'O' yes avoid the pubs with karaoke, they all sing this song. When I worked for a month in the city centre it was a novelty at first but it began to wearing a bit thin in the end.

And don't forget the Royal Liver Building, The Corn Exchange , the Main Train station and the assorted public sculptures.

A very sharp & clear image Mike, all the shots I have take taken of the moon look smooth, you have managed to make all the craters stand out so well. I must invest in a converter sometime, although I will have to wait for a F*300.

Hi & Welcome,

I had the K10 and upgraded to the K7 recently and don't regret it. For me the reduced noise, live view (great for macro's) are worth it alone, however I am told that the leap from a K20 to the K7 is not so exciting. If you are planning on purchasing some extras for your hobby, why not consider investing in a better lens or two and getting a k7 when the price drops. I purchased a DA16-45 at the same time and this had more impact on my photography than the new camera did.

Arrived home after spending a day glaring at knackered Air Conditioning system. Fridge is full of beer and just removed my head from under the cold water tap.

I have had both the Sigma 70-300 and Pentax DA 55-300, I find in both cases they hunt when focusing on small objects, when trying to capture birds I have put the Pentax on manual and hope for the best. The image quality is better on the Pentax but I'm not sure the difference is justified in the price, although you do get a greater focusing range. If you can stand it I would follow HHG's advise and save up for a prime.

Sorry to hear you have not made the grade, only seven I have just joined PPG and after trawling through my collection last night (three years worth), I was probably a bit presumptuous in applying to join. Still you are now a bona fide artist having suffered rejection, although I hope you are not homeless as well .

The thought of adding extra bulk to my rucksack has always put me off, however I always carry spare batteries with me and never need them. Although to be fair I have never tried a grip, I may have a different view if I did.

Not an insult it was well deserved and I'm sure the mods thought so too, I am now a proud owner of a box latex gloves cutesy of out local cash n carry.

What always amazes me is how many forums people manage to spent time on, I have trouble keeping up with this one.
