B&W or colour?

I like B&W for this type of shot but here the warm colour & uncomplicated structure (lines & colour) make the colour version the one I prefer.

Hear hear - the BW needs just a little more oomph and contrast, and perhaps slide the blacks up a bit...

OK - I'm the odd one out .
I really prefer the colour one - it's warmer and the difference in the shades is very subtle. The texture is more defined as well

One thing I've learnt is shots that look good in colour generally need more contrast when converted to B&W.

I like both but I think for this subject the colour is best.
I think the cobwebs should be there though, if it is a picture of a roof!

I quite like both versions although the intensity of the terracotta colour, for me has the edge.

The colour one for me, but I would increase the contrast a bit and the saturation + maybe a spot of rotation to increase the angle closer to 45 degrees.
