Actually, if there is one thing I could happily never see another picture of it would be Eilean Donan Castle....

The trouble is that any classic shot can become a cliché, the one I tire of the most is the Sunrise at Bambrugh Castle taken from stag rock, I have seen so many attempts to copy Joe Cornish it has become white noise, however I bet the last lot of sunsets I posted had the same effect on some members of this forum. link

I would be intrigued to know what elements constitute a cliched sunset / sunrise

Now this is where I get on shaky ground not having used a TC or taken pictures of planes so please forgive me!!!!
"Here we go" has a bit of shake on the top wing blurring the line a little, although I do like the propeller movement.
"Landed" A nice image but looks a little two dimensional and maybe would have benefited from a smaller aperture to blur the background.
"In a Hover" Nice and sharp, but again a bit two dimensional maybe if the speed was just a little slower so that I could see those blades spinning.
I hope this does not sound to harsh, It's not meant to sound that way

On a more serious note the town I live in has quite an industrial feel that is transformed dramatically when the sun starts to rise or set, the subtle changes in light have encouraged me to constantly revisit areas I probably would have very quickly become board with and as a result my camera would have several hundred less clicks or possibly ended up on ebay. We can all become bored with certain types of picture and as a consequence see them as inconsequential. For me all my sunsets are an attempt to let the viewer see what I see, to capture a moment and the trouble is I always fall short of the mark. So until I do manage to bottle that emotion in a single image and get it out of my system, more of the same I'm afraid
