For me, the last one's got it. Nicely shot. Is that a caravan park in the middle distance? Looks somewhat crowded!

No's 1 & 3 for me, love the movement of the water made by the boats going out.

I prefer #1 - the addition of the 2 people in the boat really makes it for me

The last one in the set is quite unusual for my area, we very rarely get those large hazy sunsets. The caravan park is quite large, it is one of three in the immediate area causing the population to treble over the holidays.

Thanks Weldingblues & Techno-terminator

The composition is quite strong on 1 & 3, number 1 is a couple of my mad Irish friends who were waving and jumping around like loons just before I took this shot, I must admit it is my personal favourite.

No. 1. IMO.

A good set and great subject matter.

I don't know if it's deliberate but you have put the best one in the gallery. It seems to have been taken a few moments before the first of this set. You have the coble sailing into, rather than out of the picture. Also, as a result of the coble's position, the figures silhouettes stand out better because they are isolated from the other boats etc. IMHO

Thanks Barrie, I had intentionally left this one out of the series as it had some potential for tweaking. So for completeness here it is:

Lovely images. I particularly enjoyed number 1 with the blurred birds.
Best wishes,

Andrew

Thanks for the comments so far . Gareth all the shots were taken with my DA 55-300, sunset IV was at 255mm, it was a rare moment when a Bigma would have been nice.

I have tinkered with this image by brightening the boat, have I overdone it?
