I couldn't afford an MX at the time, so I bought the "cheap" package (still not cheap relatively when compared to the prices of cameras today, but all I could afford at the time!) of an ME and a 40mm f2.8 "pancake" - I still have both.

The build quality of the ME is outstanding - if you haven't handled one, or better still an MX, just find one and pick it up; they just ooze quality engineering.

This ability to engender a quality feel into their cameras is something that I think that Pentax excel at when compared to most of their competitors (with the possible exception of Olympus which also have it).

I brought a new PC about a year ago - a Zoostorm (No, I had never heard of them either!). They (Zoostorm) were recommended by my IT adviser who I use for work. For a similar specification, one the well known brands was probably 25-30% more expensive.

I've not had a problem with it, but it is quite noisy.

Excellent set - I agree with Bill in that I think that my favorite is "Old Log", but they all have something about them such that on another day I may pick another.

Really like the last two, and for me the penultimate one just edges it - lovely colours.
