Not had the 80-200mm but have had the FA 200mm (currently have the 60-250mm and Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 OS) and I personally would keep the 60-250mm. As you say it is superb wide open and the extra mm at both ends can really make all the difference. I also think the K-5 is good enough to make the f2.8/f4 less important than it used to be.
I really do rate the 60-250mm, it's my favourite Pentax lens.

For Jpeg, Elements is very good, and the catalogue is very easy to use.
For RAW Lightroom is my choice and the one I use at present. There are a few occasions when you need to use Photoshop, for example putting a layered picture together. Lightroom 4 is now very good for printing but you cannot do some of the more fancy stuff you can do with photoshop elements or CS 5/6.
Photoshop is best for finer adjustments in JPEG or Raw. It comes with Bridge, a sort of catalogue, but it just isn't as good as Elements or Lightroom for cataloging your photos.

Hi I want a wide angle lens for my Pentax K30, currently I have a standard 18-55 lens on the front. I have been told that a wide angle would give more deph of field then a standard lens.
Can you tell me where is he best place to get one and wuld it come with lens cap or would I have to get that seperatly, also my lens is 52mm with lens hood, would I also have to invest in a new hood, or would my hood fit new lens? Thanks very much.
This youtube video explains depth of field very well
