RAW images Adobe ACR vs. Capture One 7
K30, K-x, *ist DL. Pentax 60-250 F4, Sigma 18-125 & 70-300
The 1st one in each looks a lot better/sharper so is that
the Adobe one? That's the way you started off.

In all the pairs of images the first one is done with Capture One 7 Express - I am very impressed. Only in extreme situations, under problematic light or high contrast situation - the ACR performed better.

I have tried again with the clarity and contrast in ACR - it does not come to the same quality as Capture One 7 Express! Download a trial version from their site and try it for yourself. The difference is clear and nothing but amazing.

I an using Adobe CS6 with ACR and Capture One 6 Express.
Just downloaded a trial version of the new Capture One Express 7.
I am so impressed how the Capture One manages to pull out small details that ACR simply cannot see! Colors are also great.
The last 2 samples are from my Pentax K-10D and the rest are are RAW samples from the net. All the samples are 100% crops - I think you will be able to see the difference quite clearly...
