Quite simply because we are on a forum that is about photography, not the correct use of the English Language. Some people find it genuinely difficult to use written language correctly and I don't think we should be focussing on that at all. And Gareth's comments were valid and meaningful. Frankly I'd be disapointed with them too and they would probably have made it swiftly to the bin.

I got very lucky a year or so ago on eBay and came across a Sigma 180mm 1:2 f2.8 macro lens. It dates from about 1980 ish, weighs about 1kg and a team of wild horses ... etc. etc.
