I bought a DFA 100mm macro in the SRS sale this year, I am still getting used to it but here is an example shot: https://www.flickr.com/photos/28204187@N08/26003431180/in/photostream/

Nice to see some shots of Oulton -- last time I visited was for the Thunder-sports back in 87! I have just upgraded (its in the post) to a K5_11 & interestingly decided on purchasing the weather resistant 18-135mm lens - looks like it may have been a good decision.
Here is a pic of Eddie Irvine (Formula Ford) leaving everyone behind in 87 (Pentax Prog A with SMC 75-150mm lens):

I think I prefer, number 3 (love the afterburner), takes me back to the good old days at Oulton, though we did not see any fastbacks in the middle 60's.
Sad news about Denis Welch, his 'Healey-Garage' at Yoxall was almost local (I am from Rugeley). I was surprised to hear had moved up to Staffs Moorlands on his 'retirement'. I have yet to pick up my weekly MSN to hear the relevant information, you have already given more than the local press. I have uploaded an old 35mm pic of a Healey (sadly not one of his)in his honour, taken at Stafford with my Program A. Comment Image

I actually saw someone with a K-X while on the open top bus at St Peters in Rome, but they were keeping to themselves.

I believe we were somewhere near here at the time.

Hi,Becky,

Here is a link to my Flickr SMC A 50mm f1.7 set. The recent shots (2009 onwards , just check the tags for info) are taken with the lens attached to my Pentax K-M DSLR, the older edition of the K-X but with less pixels!
For close up work I have a +3 Cokin lens to slide into its holder - but I do not seem to have any images in the set. Older images are from our 35mm Pentaxes.

All the best,

Didn't the original 'leak' suggest it was the the 'body only' option (ie non lens) that has been deleted. Nice to see Jessops are selling the KR, and its listed at ARGOS too. Recent test reports have also been published in the UK - the main items of concern seem to be underexposure - nothing new there, I run my K-M with plus 0.3 ev with the 'bright' option set most of the time.
As an aside, how can I stop my shutter release button sticking down? - its not a black non stick one like the K-7,K-5 but chrome. I have now shot over 10,000 images - any serious suggestions?

I used my 80-320 at the East Staffs Air show a few years back, it was a bit of a learning experience through the afternoon & I have had good results (air shows) with my 75-150mm f4 on 35mm slide back in the early 90's.
Here is a link to the East Staffs set,
the 90's stuff isn't scanned yet, lol:

I have had good results with Ilford from Boots - I think Hartman develop & put on disc.

Not sure if anyone saw last weeks Amateur Photograher but they ran a comparison on the K5, Nikon D7000 & Sony Alpha 55 - it appears they all share the same Sony sensor - anyway it appears you can shoot without using ISO (ie you can push 6 stops in the post shooting, processing stage). Oh, the AP reporter prefered the K5.
To be honest I am not sure how useful this could be, love to hear other peoples views.
