Thank you for your thoughts, Bill, they are much appreciated. The light was strong, carving out the graphic lines for me to pick up on. I was also lucky to get some stormy skies overhead (didn't profit much from them photographically though, as they delivered on their promise of heavy downpours). Regarding space and airiness, I'm a bit surprised they show up as much as they do - I felt quite cramped and stifled during our sojourn (it's a small island with a lot of people on it, especially in tourist season) - I suppose I may have been looking for them unconsciously, and breathing, so to speak, through the camera.

Lovely daisies in 3, the bright and crisp flowers against the out of focus stems work quite well.

The second one is quite a study in greens and degrees of transparency - one could spend some time in meditative contemplation before it.

Like the colour scheme in here.
Nice shot
Agreed, the colours and verticals make the image quite dynamic, while the record, in opposition, seems to be floating on its own in the upper corner.

The light and colour of the first image are nicely rendered, enjoyably soft and subtle. The small size of 3, 4 and 5 make them difficult to appreciate on my monitor.

Hello all, hopefully you are all well and, like me, putting 'idle' time (for those who have such) to good photographic use (and I see most of you have). I've been sifting through unprocessed photos - here is another set from a week in Malta last summer. A bit of fresh air (although it was pretty much blazing hot) for me in this time of limited movement. A good way to get outside, so to speak... Hope you enjoy.

I like the first two (the reworked version is way too bright for my taste - no mystery left). It took me a moment to realize they were the same image, and I wondered how you had managed to find two sets of the exact same tools, one rusty and one not

Great work here Gareth, the dark theme works well on you (the eyes, the beard, the head, the general look) and the Mrs' hat brings a bit of fun and movement to the set.

Alarmingly so.

I don't think I've ever found a walk boring, even daily same-olds as I'm taking these days... I like your first image, with the machine's colours (not overwhelming) against the grey soil and whitish cloud.
