The light and colour of the first image are nicely rendered, enjoyably soft and subtle. The small size of 3, 4 and 5 make them difficult to appreciate on my monitor.

Re-posted 3,4 and 5 at a larger size. Wasn’t sure if first 2 would be disallowed as too big, but seem to have come through ok.

That's much better (#1 is still my favorite) I believe there may be a maximum size allowed on the site, but it would be at least something like 1000 or so pixels on the larger side. Otherwise, you may also link from a photo hosting site.

Attractive delicate colours, John - are they like that or have you processed them that way?

Thank you, Serge, I think you’re right about the 1000 pixels, though 800 also rings a bell in my mind.
Philip, thank you, too. The colours are exactly as they should be - no colour processing involved at all, which is really why I posted them, as that is what appealed to me in the first place

By 'eck! Spring comes late in Huddersfield!

Lovely shades of yellow. Created by nature, recorded by you. An inspired double act.

Those are gorgeous. I've never seen that variety before.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Ee bah gum, Steve, obviously a while since you were up north😂
But more likely due to late planting!

David, they are a variety of narcissus called Pipit (I am reliably informed by my wife!)

And thanks to both of you for your comments!

Last November, Harrogate. Although down here there's a school of thought which says that anything north of Shaftesbury is both north and foreign.
