Very nice tones in the second and third images, Peter. The last is the more interesting one for me, there's a certain delicacy to the "messy" bunching of petals.

Really like the textures and shapes in the driftwood shots. Beautiful bit of B&W developing.
My thoughts exactly.

Lovely feel to this, Steve. One can sense the mood.

The flow is just fine, Lennybloke. And a bit more off the beaten path, which is always a good place to be, in my opinion. The chilling gondoliere is the pick of the lot here, for me.

I agree with the comments regarding #3, but #1 is quite classy too, with the focused diagonal of the leaf's edge underlying the hoverfly.

Great follow-up to the first series, Lennybloke. In both sets, I particularly like the less touristy images (not that there's anything wrong with those), they feel more photographically authentic in a way, less constrained by the 'obligation' to find an interesting point of view. I especially like the last of this set.

The sense of overwhelming loneliness/emptiness works just as well here as it does in your landscape work, Bill, leaving us to fill it up as we may. Also, the half present swing on the left discreetly leads our imagination to the unseen world beyond. Thanks for the link, interesting images there too.

I'm liking these Gareth, the b+w especially - bringing out the abstractness of the setup, concentrating on spheres, lines and tones.

Thanks for the show, both of you - these are quite some captures.
