A few more, then. I'm starting to get a sense of what type of photograph will work out for me here (although I do still get quite surprised at what the inversion offers me to work with at times - or should I say often?), and what won't. There are much more of the latter than of the former.

Thank you all for your comments. I wasn't sure the 'brash' set would go over well, but I'm glad you like it. My favourites are the 'inner light' subset, but they were all done in great fun, and I was surprised to find I could actually make something interesting out the simple idea... Rest assured, LennyB, more will come...

Very nice indeed, Chris. The very shallow depth of field keeps things on the 'pretty' side, which helps us acknowledge the beauty of decay...

These really speak for much of your photography John (or for what I see in much of it at least): a gentle rendition of contemplative moments in the countryside.

Well seen images of a beautiful landscape. I remember seeing the same type of rock formation out in Burren, Co. Clare, Ireland. Mysterious, even when explained. And there is indeed a whole ecosystem lurking within those cracks.
