Wilting Roses from a bunch purchased a couple of weeks ago.

All 120mm Macro - F10 - 1.3 seconds - 100 iso and just a splash of natural light. pretty much SOOC

Very nice indeed, Chris. The very shallow depth of field keeps things on the 'pretty' side, which helps us acknowledge the beauty of decay...

All nice, particularly the 2nd one. I love your use of natural light too - why use a flash when you have a tripod?
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

As soon as you see these at larger size they immediately "pop" with detail against the jet black background - nicely done Chris
