Really cool stuff, Roger. The 20 stack looks like some strange landscape seen from the sky... Would love to see more if you have any.

Totally different shot without the window frame (which I rather like in the first version). But especially, the crop in 2 is the important element to my eyes - it indeed shifts the whole feel and interest, and we take a deep dive into the flowers and textures themselves. Lovely.
(And the last image's processing is quite fine by me).

I prefer the last one, as it is the one with the more interesting (to my eye) movement in the water - just the right shutter speed there to make things more abstract than the more usual long-shutter-speed-water images.

Love that first image, LennyB.

I'm a bit late, but for what it's worth, I retired my K-01 because of a jamming shutter. I've heard of it happening to others, but have no idea if it is a common occurence. I didn't send it in so no official estimate, but my local camera store suggested 150€ or up as possible repair cost - and they had a great offer on the K70 so ...
Great little camera the K-01 though!

Technically, taking a photograph of a recognizable individual is perfectly legal in France. It is the publication of said photo (in any form or medium) which requires written consent. With some exceptions (public gatherings and such...)

Cracking images as always, Roger - clinically detailed and poetically seen. That first one looks like some creepy-crawly animal's skin.

Not sure I see the necessity of putting up a link for a donation? On these forums at least I'm sure everyone would be true to their word and just go to the Trust's website to make the donation...

The close-ups (5, 8, 9) work best for me Gareth, especially 5 - quite mysterious, those rocks rising out of the cloudy softness of the water.
