Or here is a link to Lillys RPS portfolio. Small sized photos but David may be able to point out the ones he recognised.

Well if you HAVE to spend it on photo gear but you don't want any, I can send you a wishlist !

You could go wider with a fisheye, or treat yourself to a prime or 2 at your most used focal lengths.
A Carbon tripod perhaps ?

There isn't alot in it with regards to working distance for 1:1 (something like 2 inches difference iirc) of course you don't always want as high as 1:1 but I don't see there being a huge difference between 150mm & 180mm.

Mike will have a more informed opinion for you though.

The 150mm isn't available in K mount I don't think. The 180mm is though & is well regarded.

i want a digital one so that it doesn't crop/zoom on the digital sensor.
The focal length of a lens is as quoted, nothings going to alter that, The crop you refer to comes from the size of the sensor in the camera. Pentax dslr's all have a crop factor of 1.5.

Paul, I think these are universal type triggers. The ebay sellers are just listing Canon / Nikon so that they will show up on various searches by the punters.

But perhaps you didn't notice the implicit slur in saying that Pentax is OK for beginners.
If this is referring to me, then it was posted in context of the opening post. Would I recommend Pentax to an experienced photographer ? NO !
I'd let them make their own mind up.

Oh & yes I did send you a rather direct PM, in an effort to cause least annoyance & leave this thread on topic, oh & I've replied to your oddly spanish influenced reply.

Would I recommend Pentax if asked my opinion, Yes. Pentax user forum Yes. They both have the odd gremlin, but the good outweigh the bad.

Apologies, I missed this part of the Opening post;

so please only respond with your views, and do not respond in answer to other posts in this thread.But I am interested in different opinions.
So have taken my reply to PM where it belongs. My views are still as above & it looks like you do have some "different opinions".
