Just download PhotoMe. It tells you everything you always wanted to know about any Pentax Dslr, but were afraid to ask.
Shutter actuations per camera included.
Best regards,

Martin.

Remind me where it shows the shutter count. I can never seem to find it.

Thanks

Manufacturer Notes Tab, about 2/3 way down that category.

I don't appear to have a Manufacturer Notes tab.

Manufacturer Notes is a field within the Camera category. Is there more than one version of Photo-me? Mine says it is the latest.

It has to be a raw file for full information.

Didn't realise it must be Raw.

The easy way is to put the cursor in the bottom line/search box of Photome and type shu.

IIRC PPL does record this in JPGs, but Silkypix does not.

Are you sure Dave - as I said, if the JPG was created by the camera or PPL then yes, but I cannot find it on a JPG created by Silkypix?

Shutter counts are displayed in Jpeg, But what I found is, if you do any PP to the Jpeg before opening it in Photome it will remove the Manufacturers notes from the Exif info.

So open the Jpeg before doing anything to it and all the exif info will be displayed.
