Where does your info spring from?
ap dated 1april it is in there buying guide unless they have slipped an april fool in there
It's been given 5* so must have been tested by AP. DP Review doesn't list Pentax on the available mounts though.

Nigel, Gareth has explained that the liquid is acrylic paint injected into the water, to look like the nail varnish. You cannot imagine Mrs Gareth letting a whole bottle of nail varnish be 'wasted'! I bet she was out at the time. Or is it Gareth's?

Back to the start of this thread, the Pentax Photo Gallery is run by http://us.ricoh-imaging.com/ and it has a couple of expired links which shows the site isn't being well maintained. Probably the responsibility of an employee who is too busy/cannot be bothered. I guess the camera and lens links only get updated when a new model is used for a photo; a quick review of the latest additions doesn't give a clue when they were taken or added, nor do any have comments which indicates lack of interest and would suggest that the site has been superceded by Flickr, a shame as the body/lens select function is really good. Maybe kickstart the site by message-bombing in the comments!

Nothing but after visiting and playing with the K1 and KP, spent the rest of the show playing with(and falling for it must be said) another brand. I know people are touchy here so will just say it begins with the letter `O`!
This is turning into a quiz! I spied with my little eye something beginning with H; didn't dare ask.

Looking for a backpack to take the 150-450mm plus K-1, or alternatively the landscape kit and got as far as the counter with a Manfrotto backpack reduced by £50 but chickened out because I wanted to test that the lens fitted. Good job really because it would have been a struggle to carry with the rest:
A Dorr tripod bag for the Manfrotto 055 (£19.99)
A Dorr directional microphone (£35.00) for when I try video
The Lee Filters SW150 kit plus soft grad filters from SRB at a reasonable reduction
A sumptuous book on bird photography by three Scandinavians who seem to spend their lives half buried in snow or waist deep in freezing water under a floating hide.

I realised later that Leica had no stand which was probably a good thing! So who else came away with goodies?

Not including the non-FF lenses, prior to the K-1 I bought:
D-FA 100mm macro
50mm f1.8

Since, I have acquired:
D-FA 28-105mm for general purpose
D-FA 150-450mm for which I traded a Sigma 150-500mm
D-FA 15-30mm f2.8, love this lens and just bought the Lee Filters SW150 kit to fit

I am reluctant to buy another of the zooms due to the weight in the bag although am tempted; waiting impatiently for the new primes and fisheye zoom promised in the roadmap and for which my aps-c compatible lenses will be traded.

No, you are right. Poor soul. (Comment referred to article writer not CMW, in case I was interpreted incorrectly).

Do you get excited by updates to your phone or computer? Really? What a sad life this guy must lead.

Yes, the focussing screen is removable which I found out when some microscopic paint flakes from a (new) lens adaptor managed to get everywhere including behind the screen. The plastic is very soft though and easily scratched but at least that doesn't affect the photos, and replacements are available.
