@ Pwynnej Shame on you drinking Heineken! So many better beers available in Holland!

It was all that was being served in Bad Habits in Leiden
After two pints of Fuller's London Pride at the North End pub, I would agree with you that there are better beers in Holland, ie English, German and Belgian.

It's actually not that bad.....Budweiser, Coors and Miller are battery acid in comparison...bretbysteve wrote:

Yes, it's not brilliant... New England has a lot of excellent microbreweries....The London Pride I had yesterday afternoon was rather better....and miles better than the Heineken biertje I had last night, that was pretty vile

Clam Chowder, washed down with Sam Adams Boston Lager...
Freedom Trail tour in Boston is quite interesting. The information we got on the tour didn't paint the brits in such a bad light.
I really enjoyed it... hope you do too

I hope to get a Macro next and would like as usual a bit of advice from you, never had a macro before, only used my 135mm telephoto from a distance.
What would the visual difference be between a Sigma 105mm 2.8 macro and a Sigma 50mm 2.8 macro, as their min foc. dist. is the same and both are 1:1.
Also, has anyone seen any reviews on whether the Tamron or the Sigma Macro performs better, I think I did see a review in a PP few months back but can't remember only that the Pentax Macro didnt get a very good rating.
PP doesn't seem to be a Pentax-friendly magazine. Optically, the D-FA 100 is superb and it shows that in tests, yet it gets marked down on some fickle aspects, that's why it doesn't get a good overall rating. I am very pleased with mine....I hope to get a Macro next and would like as usual a bit of advice from you, never had a macro before, only used my 135mm telephoto from a distance.

I think one place you could buy a K10D with 2 year guarantee is in the Netherlands.......Luchthaven Schiphol... all the stuff I've bought from there has been supplied with a 2-year guarantee....
The camera body is 849 euros, or 949 with lens (18-55), so if you're planning a trip to europe via Amsterdam then call in the electronics shop at the airport.... I'll be doing that on Friday.

the 43 and the 200..... and although I already have the 24-90 which is a fabuolous lens, another one would be tempting...
but I have a shopping list of the 50 mm f1.4 FA and the DA* 16-50 and 60-250 lenses....so I need to save for them
