Like the feeling I got when I printed my first Pentax negs taken on my S3 from 1961 compared with my 1938 Contax II with uncoated f 1.5 Sonnar lens!

How do we get onto the TV programmes ? It's always WHO you know, not WHAT you know !

When I'm out on local press jobs 98% of the time it's flash needed,so I carry a white board from a Metz bounce flash attachment ( which broke after a short while, being only plastic ! ) and hold that at an angle to my Metz flash head and I get some very nice lighting on the people, better then the results from all the other local press snappers with Nikon and Canon gear and flashes which cost double mine ! I also use it outdoors sometimes when I use fill-in flash.

I used the 400mm Pentax-A f5.6 series lens with my K10D to photograph at the Brentwoood Town Cycle races with the SR on and I got shake-free shots hand held, balancing myself on some straw bales, and of course I had to use manual focus.

I was treated to 'lunch' by the Yellow Advertiser Chief Photographer once: we went into Basildon Town Square Greggs Coffee shop where I had a Belgian Bun and a Coffee; it was very nice.

My boy brought home from school a plant in a plastic pot the kids were growing; I thought it was CRESS so waited to see it grow then I fancy some cress in a sandwich, however my wife re-potted it and it was very happy and flower buds appeared ! Here is the result- it was probably POISONOUS ! K10D with screw 50mm f4 SMC Macro-Takumar + extension tube, ISO set to 200, AV at f11, hand-held in sunlight coming through kitchen window.

Mongoose: I have the Jupiter 85mm f2 Russian I got at my Camera Club auction for £1 and I have used it in Hong-Kong on my Spotmatic to photograph the lights and for some portraits and my boy took all the 'official snaps' of the presentations at the Club AGM with it on my ME Super at f5.6 with my Bowens Monolite 400 bounced and they were very good. Will see if I can scan some negs or take some on the digital to show you. Peter.

I can't understand most of this : how do I FIND the screeen resolution ? I have a 'Time' computer donated by my sister-in-law. It has quite a large screen and is the regular TV Set shape.
