In a Rush ! Taken in the Philippines in the village from where my wife comes> I was out picture hunting and this guy came along; the light was very poor; I had the aperture quite small so the shutter speed was long and gave this result; a 20x16" print did quite well in Camera club competitions! LX with 28mm f2.8 Pentax-M lens, Kodak TMY 400,scanned from a 10x8" print.

The trouble with the LX is that the maximum flash sych speed is so slow for outdoors fill-in at 1/75th second- I couldn't believe it of Pentax when it came out as a so-called 'Professional Camera' - I use the ME Super which synchs at 1/125th second still not as fast as my wife's Nikon FE 2 which is 1/250th second and I have used that one for some press work because of the faster flash synch speed.

The press reporters and us two snappers (the other photog had a CANON and was mostly using the built-in flash) had an officer assigned to 'watch our backs'( THEY had STAB VESTS!) I had only a PENTAX !
Will let you know how many were used when the paper comes out on Friday this week-hoping for a double page spread!

Went out on a press event with Romford Police on Friday; they went around various pubs with drug dogs to show their presence then we were taken to Romford Rail Station where there was a metal detector set up and a drug dog sniffing people as they came through the ticket machines. I was doing it for the Romford Recorder. I used mainly availble light, 1600 ASA rating, tungsten or Fluorescent balance with a little 'manual' balance applied in the whit balance menu, program exposure, shake reduction ON.

I tied my BPM Bellows on my K10D and it fouled where the flash on top of the pentaprism sticks out.
