Gyn : yes, I did the 'pasting'bit but when I looked the 'cursor' was flashing and it was not outside the last[img]tag but still a couple of characters inside- no matter how many times I tried it would not paste correctly. I have put more photos on the ordinary Gallery as I know how to do it there! Also, Flickr would NOT allow me to copy the 'short'URL.

I have just tried three times to get this technique to work and NO photo comes up in the box, only a red cross. I found the long URL and the short URL boxes in Flickr BUT it would NOT allow me to select and 'copy'the short one as there is an order from Flickr saying you must NOT use the short one for sending photos to another site, and the long URL pasted between the[img] tag things doesn't work. I USED to get my photos from 'photogalaxy' to work OK but now I get a funny error message come up on photogalaxy when I try to access the hosting bit and cannot get into it - maybe it has gone bust or something, so I can only upload my photos from my computer store in the members' Gallery page.

The number of times you will use f1.7 doesn't warrant buying it. There is only one third stop in light gathering power.

I had this 'Time'computer 'upgraded'to windows 2000 pro and some more RAM added. The technician put on Zone Alarm and AVG Free mk8,but now there is a problem(he told me about it). I cannot scan with the AVG Free and cannot get update manager to work when I click on it,it updates then says 'Update FAILED-connection with server disconnected' BUT there is a GREEN tick which says'Protected, all components working' so I don't know what to do - shall I un-install the AVG Free mk8 and just have the Zone Alarm? Any help would be appreciated ( but I cannot understand 'computerspeak'much).

I think he means black and white printing, not colour printing for the AS course.I don't like the RC Pearl type paper much but the only manufacturer I know doing a RC'Lustre' is the British Kentmere company (now owned by Ilford Limited).Their 'Kenthene'is good and cheaper than Ilford.

Boots own brand 'Universal' film IS GOOD as it is actually Fuji 400ASA-when I was doing a lot of work for the Yellow Advertiser newspaper on film they had an account with Boots of Basildon, Essex and used that film all the time. You can get your colour films done cheaply and good quality at 'BonusPrint'.

I agree that mattp should learn to use what he has already-his small photo is very dark and under-exposed,no 'professional' lighting so how is he going to get 'paying'customers if that is a sample? I wouldn't pay for a studio session to get dark results!
