I was thinking along the lines of Next May on a Saturday or Sunday for a Pentax Forum Members Meet. at the Robin Hood Center, Sherwood Forest, it has a large car park, Cafeteria, and the oldest Oak tree etc. There will be things to photograph all around , free to get in, (might be a small car parking charge) Barby area if you want to bring your own barby.
Tracey and I will be going up there over the next two weeks, and we will find out more info on what's going on in the month of May.
All we need for now is YES or NO to the venue and the time of year.

Ok SATURDAY MAY THE 9TH OR SUNDAY the 10th..

How about making a firm date and time and then seeing who will sign up to the event in this thread? Without this info it's not easy to say yes or no.
Best regards, John

I don't want to commit to it, it's a busy time of year for me with workshops and stuff, but at the moment I'm free for this date.

Could I suggest alternative dates of Sunday 3rd or 24th May too? Just in case Sunday's are better for the majority? I'm free (at the moment) for those dates too.

Saturdays are off for me too, however, if you make it Sunday the 10th, it's my birthday and you can all bring me a cake!

Hmmmm....gee, don't think I can make it. $1,100 just to get there and back.Maybe May 2010 is better for me.

My birthday on the 12th, as I said in the original thread if I am in the country, then I will be there.

To the mods should this be made a Sticky

Sounds good. I can have a beer on the Saturday night with my Brother (his birthday on the 6th), and kip the night at his place. Either day is good at the moment.

Thinking of visiting Memphis in March so maybe we can have a mini PU forum gtg then! I'll let you know if the plans go ahead.

Edit:
I forgot to add that at this stage I can't commit to it, but I'll do my best. Hopefully my brother in Derby is around then so I have a place to stay!

I am heading to Louisiana around about that time but if I am still in the country I'll certainly like to come. 9th probably better than the 10th at the moment.

Best wishes, Kris.

Can't make the 10th, but 9th is still okay.
