Keep both. There are times where the 50-135 will be smaller and faster, and the 60-250 for reach. If you can keep both, keep them!

Simple answer. K-5
I have had mine for over 2 years, over 30,000 shots and it feels like new.
Performance wise it is a major leap over my *istDs, K10D and K20D. Above all else, it is the first Pentax DSLR that I have been totally happy with, it does everything I want from it or even throw at it. So much so I don't really have a need to get the K5 IIs in the foreseeable future.

The K-r much as it is a great camera, I would feel that you would wish you had bought the K-5 in the first place.

I have just recently got one of these lenses, and it is excellent.
I just have to get used to push-pull zooming again (stop moving it when taking the pic!)

Michael e-bat is an option as I'd putting them in the classifieds on here. Why don't you list them and see what response you get? Films cameras will always find a good home, especially with users on here(like me)

I got to hold one at Focus on Imaging - and I agree totally, it really does feel like a really well-built, quality piece of kit

I wasn't too tempted (as it was a few thousand dearer at the time), but I have kept hold of my favourite 645 lenses "just in case"
I went there too - in 2011 - and handled the 645D. I too was very tempted, especially as Jacobs(RIP) had a deal which threw in a second lens. But I just could'nt possibly afford it

Still, one day......

Personal preference really.

I have the grip for my K-5 and my K10D/K20D
It depends on where I am, what I am shooting, and what is on the end of the camera.

My 40mm Ltd looks both silly and harder to use when the grip is on the camera. On the other hand, my 50-135 needs the grip for balance.
On the other hand, the fact that it has the extra battery and I can keep shooting with having to change batteries is great.

Finally, and this is purely a perception, if you have the grip on, the camera looks more "pro" in some peoples eyes. Sad I know, but there you go.
