If you glance at other Pentax forums (yes, there are one or two!) you'll see that the K-x has been well received apart from the matter of rechargeable batteries not powering the camera half the time. Or at least if you believe all the whingers.

Just noticed that SRS have cut the price of the K-x body from £579 to £519. Maybe they'll give me a further discount for plugging this

I used to set contrast to +1 on my K100D. Then I wondered why I was always having to use shadows/highlights in PS to tone it down. Now I use contrast at -1 and results are much better.

I've got a different make on my Optio screen. Trouble is, it's very reflective, so often all I can see on the screen is my ugly mug .
